Pittsburg Steelers Sweatshirt
This is a photo of the Pittsburg Steelers sweatshirt removed from David Thorne's car under a search warrant. It was logged on the evidence sheet as a Pittsburg Steelers sweatshirt. By the time it reached the lab, it was a Harley Davidson sweatshirt with blood stains on it. Since it was in the possession of ex-Detective Bud Sampson, he would logically be the person responsible for switching the shirts.
Was David T known to wear HarleyDavidson gear? Was there actually a H-D sweatshirt with blood (or something the LE officer could have confused for blood) found? Was the Pittsburgh Steelers shirt actually entered into evidence? just curious.
